This Fire & Ice quartz tower from Brazil is absolutely gorgeous! It is remarkably clear and full of rainbows. Its unique slight milky cast reminds me of girasol quartz. It would make a wonderful addition to any crystal collection.
This crystal measures 65 x 52 x 32 mm (2.55" x 2.04" x 1.25") and weighs 179 g (6.3 oz).
Please note that as a product of nature, this crystal is perfectly imperfect. It has a deep crevice on one side. This is not a normal chip/crevice and seems to have been there before the crystal received the fire and ice treatment. It is hard to see unless you hold it up to the light. Fire and Ice (aka Crackle Quartz) is created when a very clear quartz crystal is heated and then submerged in water. The internal fracturing as a result of this treatment creates beautiful rainbows inside.
